Mike Grandmaison is passionate about creating beautiful images that reflect the beauty of Canada. His library of more than 100,000 Canadian nature stock photographs is an extensive and eclectic collection of unique images. These premium quality, "rights managed" photos are available for corporate use, editorial publishing and fine art decor. Mike is a calendar specialist, providing imagery for the calendar needs of numerous organizations, corporations and businesses (large and small).

As a full time, professional photographer, Mike travels extensively across Canada to photograph on assignment for a broad range of clients. He is particularly passionate about nature (landscapes, wildlife, and plants), agriculture, architecture, garden, industry and travel. His work has been published worldwide. Mike was awarded second prize in the Northern Lights 2007 Awards Canada competition for Excellence in Travel Journalism.

Mike has authored many books, including his latest  "Georgian Bay" in 2008. "The Canadian Rockies" premiered in the spring of 2007 while "Canada" became a national best seller soon after its release in 2005. "Canada" was recently re-printed as a soft-cover edition after the hard cover edition sold out. He is currently working on two new titles: "Muskoka" and "Ontario". Mike leads photo workshops from time to time, including one in Algonquin Provincial Park from September 26-27. Mike is also a regular contributor to "Outdoor Photography Canada" magazine for which he illustrates a feature called "Discovering Canada".
